CEREMONIAL MACE
CAP AND GOWN
During commencement, the president of the Academic Senate carries the ceremonial mace that represents the roles and responsibilities of El Camino faculty in the success of the college.
The traditional cap and gown, known as graduation regalia, are worn by graduates during commencement. El Camino graduates wear blue; commencement volunteers wear white. Faculty and staff wear regalia appropriate to their academic achievements.
