EDITOR IN CHIEF’S COLUMN

The third issue of Ekbladet 2022 is out! Amazing. In this issue you will read about this year’s inspark the first one after the pandemic, so you better believe it was good. We have some interviews and a lot of pictures as well as other bits and pices and that I hope you will find interesting. So autumn is here and probably soon winter and snow.. I am not complaining, love when the seasons change and how watching a movie and eating a nice dinner with friends, drinking some wine and having candles lit becomes more and more cozy. Some rest from the inspark and all the party’s as well, ofc there will be party’s and fun but not to the same extent which I believe is needed.

I need to talk about the inspark now ofc before I go into the autumn spirit in full. I was a fadder this year in roadman. It was so much fun and getting to know so many new people from not just Sweden but from different parts of Europe as well and that just made it even more fun. I’m not going to lie and I think all of IBP got a little startled when we found out we got like 30 rookies and how we would see to that everyone felt included and was having fun.. but as we know now and what our wonderful rookies have let us know is that we did a very good job and I couldn’t be more proud of us. I want also to say to everyone that was involved in this years inspark to the fadders and trusted generals, you did this inspark amazing for the rookies, and i do think all rookies would agree that they feelt so welcomed included. So give yourself a round of applause.

And to all the rookies thank you for being the best rookies and i hope that you will have an very good time studying here at Umeå university
