1+8WaystoStayAlive(2024)isaverbalscorefor5performers,theirheartbeats, and their objects/instruments. In the room, there are 5 stations (one for each performer)with2scoreseach.Everyperformerentersthespacewithanobject,a setofobjects,oraninstrumentrelatedtothequalitiesoftheirpulseandchoosesa station to sit and a score (one of two) to play. When prompted by the score, performersmovetoanotherstationwithouttakinganythingwiththemexceptfrom their pulse. The score will unfold over 5 rounds, and each transition from one station to another should be initiated by a different station in each round. All playersfollowtheperformerinitiatingthetransitionandchangeseatsaccordingly. The process repeats, with all players exploring different stations, scores, and instruments/objects in subsequent rounds.
