"The artists, two speakers and an audience: Can weleavethingsastheyare?"isaverbalscorefor three performers, three sonic environments, three inner bodily rhythms, and any sound source. The group walks together prior to the performance as flâneurs in the city. They collectively choose three publicspacesthatresonatewithoneoftheirinner rhythms or sounds (e.g., breathing, heartbeating, stomach sounds, swallowing, cracking of bones, rhythm of walking, ringing in the ears etc.) and recordtogetherforthreeminutes.

In an indoor space, each performer selects one sonic environment (one field recording) and one innerbodilyrhythmassociatedwiththerecording. Every performer has a pair of headphones, which they use only for the first three minutes of the performance to develop their thesis. The performance is divided into three parts following the scheme: ‘thesis - antithesis - synthesis’ (Hegel), or ‘economic - social - political’ (Marx), or ‘timespace - energy,’ or even ‘melody - harmonyrhythm.’ The group will collectively decide the durationofeachpart.
