While our air may not be as crisp and fresh as up North, the Iced Pumpkin Spice Lattes are cold and the Saints are playing so life is good! But, there's more to fall in New Orleans than what meets the eye. This guide shares activities, food, drinks, and tips to keep your entire family busy. Thanks to this guide, you'll never hear, "I'm bored" or "There's nothing to do" this season.

Every weekend in October starting on the 13th, head to Bayou St. John for some traditional Oktoberfest fun! With German beer, food, dancing, a dog parade and even a 5K run, this is endless fun for the whole family! Gate admission is just $10 per person 12+
New Orleans Fall Events: Halloween!

The pumpkin patch in the heart of Uptown will open on September 22 and run through the end of October. Kids can enjoy the ducks roaming free, hay photos, and candy! Let the little ones pick out their own pumpkin!

Every October, the French Market District hosts a Halloween event complete with trick-or-treating for the whole family! Kids can revel in the candy they receive from various vendors, while parents can shop, sip and eat.

The Krewe of Boo has a whole weekend of festivities planned! It’s most famous event is the parade, which will be held on Saturday, October 21st at 6:30 pm and it will start in the Marigny, roll through the French Quarter and end in the Warehouse District
