Happy New Year from all of us at EHL Campus Singapore !

We ’re really excited for the new year and look forward to more activities , partnerships , events and bringing the EHL community closer together.

First Event of 2023: Hospitality Mergers & Acquisitions Masterclass

On 10 th January 2023, EHL Graduate School ' s Academic Director - Stéphane Haddad , conducted a Hospitality Mergers & Acquisitions Masterclass on campus with the use of the case study : « Acquisition of Belmond by LVMH » to further discuss and analyze the processes and forecasts for hospitality mergers and acquisitions

We gathered professionals from hotels , resorts , banking , finance , real estate , and many more . This allowed them to have a taste of EHL’s quality of education and exchange insights on the upcoming trends on hospitality mergers and acquisitions

As we kick off 2023, we look forward to more enriching opportunities for our community and wider network of industry professionals in the region .

For the Fall Open House, we put together a video compilation of the alumni interviews we’ve conducted in Singapore over the past two years.

November – December Events

To end the year, we held a few more events for our student, staff, faculty, and alumni communities in Singapore

On the 26th and 27th of November, we held our first immersive Open House on campus.

Guests went on an experiential journey through the EHL story from its rich history, through the Bachelor journey, and even postgraduate options and career opportunities

The highlight of the weekend was the faculty taster classes:

• Dynamic & Surge Pricing with Dr Guy Llewellyn

• Corporate Governance with DrAdam Aoun

• Circular Economy in Hospitality with Dr Luciano Lopez

• Complex Problem Solving with Mr Natt Srinara

We had a dedicated room to feature the Alumni Network and show guests where our alumni ended up after graduation, in different industries all around the world!

THE WORLD OF LUXURY - PANEL

We hosted the final panel discussion for the 2022 EHL Career Series on the topic of “ The World of Luxury ”, followed by a networking & cocktail session hosted by Diageo

We were pleased to invite the following speakers for the discussion :

• Dr Victor Kwan , Managing Director, Prestige Division ( Bentley, Aston Martin , Bugatti ), Wearnes Automotive

CHATEAU D’ISSAN WINE MASTERCLASS

We were honored to welcome Emmanuel Cruse , owner of Château d ’ Issan , onto campus to deliver a wine masterclass for our students , staff and alumni . This was the largest masterclass we held at EHL Campus Singapore thus far !

Mr Cruse was introduced by Mr Claudio de Villemor Salgado , AEHL ‘96 and he took the guests on a journey across four châteaux :

• Château d ’ Issan

• Château Lafon Rochet

• Château Pedesclaux

• Château Lilian Ladouys

8 wines were tasted during the session of 2014 and 2019 vintages . A warm thank- you to the Singapore Stamm who supported this event, and we look forward to many more

EHLCAREER SERIES COMPANYVISIT: PAULANER BRÄUHAUS

For the final company visit of the year, we brought our students to visit the Paulaner Bräuhaus brewery in Singapore for a behind - the - scenes tour and tasting session .

We look forward to bringing students on many more company visits in 2023!
