Scottsdale Buzzes with New Coffee Destinations as Sprouts and Press Coffee Expand Partnership IN A MOVE THAT’S PERKING UP THE SCOTTSDALE COMMUNITY, SPROUTS FARMERS MARKET INC. AND PRESS COFFEE, BOTH PHOENIX-BASED ENTERPRISES, HAVE ANNOUNCED AN EXCITING EXPANSION OF THEIR COLLABORATIVE VENTURE. This development follows the success of their pilot coffee shop within a Sprouts store in Phoenix.

In November, the first of these new Press Coffee locations opened its doors at the Sprouts store on 8787 N. Scottsdale Rd. This launch is just the beginning of a series of openings planned over the next four months. In December, coffee lovers can anticipate two more Press outlets within Sprouts stores at 23269 N. Scottsdale Rd. and at 9301 E. Shea Blvd. The expansion will culminate in February, with Press commencing operations at the Sprouts store located at 4402 N. Miller Rd.

The buzz began at the corner of Osborn and Seventh Avenue in Phoenix, where the initial Sprouts-Press joint venture demonstrated the potential of this unique partnership. Encouraged by the positive response, the duo is now set to bring this innovative concept to Scottsdale, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and discerning coffee aficionados.

This strategic expansion not only signifies a growing trend of multi-purpose shopping experiences but also highlights the synergy between local businesses in enhancing community offerings. For Scottsdale residents, the convenience of sipping a premium Press coffee while shopping for fresh produce at Sprouts adds a delightful twist to their routine errands.

Mon Cheri to Bring European Flair to Old Town Scottsdale with New Champagne Café and Charcuterie Bar Rendering courtesy of Mon Cheri MON CHERI, A NEW CHAMPAGNE CAFÉ AND CHARCUTERIE BAR, IS GETTING READY TO OPEN IN OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE. Make way for designer boards, fancy champagne cocktails, decadent desserts, memorable aesthetics, and modern European dining. The chic new concept, anticipated to open in January, will offer something for everyone, especially the girls! Mon Cheri, located at 7014 E. 1st Ave. in Scottsdale, is in the former Arcadia Farms 1953 house turned restaurant. After months of renovations and gallons of pink paint, the restaurant has transformed to provide an elevated experience that showcases the beauty of sharable dining.

“I love the unique style of charcuterie eating,” says Brand Founder Lexi Caliskan. “It’s sharable, unique, beautiful, and delicious. It’s meaningful to me to share food with the people I love in a beautiful way. Mon Cheri, ‘My Dear’ will be a unique dining experience and a proper introduction to modern charcuterie dining.”

Caliskan has always loved to share food – it’s been her style of eating for as long as she can remember. She coined it ‘the girlfriend style of eating’ – when girls enjoy stealing bites from their boyfriends’ plates. That’s how her vision of Mon Cheri was created. While this may be her first venture in the culinary space, Caliskan is experienced in the entrepreneurial product world. She founded the Original MakeUp Eraser in 2013 and has many accolades to her name. Caliskan partnered with Uno Más Hospitality Group on the new project. Uno Más was recently founded by a dedicated team of seasoned hospitality and business professionals that provide hospitality experience. “We’re excited to partner with Lexi and her team to bring this unique concept to the Valley,” says Eric Nugent, CEO of Uno Más Hospitality Group. “From our champagnebased cocktails and bubble bar to our beautifully designed space and shareable cuisine, Mon Cheri is a one-of-a-kind experience. You can expect to see big things coming from this partnership.”

In addition to the signature charcuterie, Mon Cheri will offer a full-service European menu of delectable dishes that can be enjoyed individually or as sharable items. Pre-designed multicourse menus will be available for those wanting to experience it all! The restaurant will also offer catering with designer boards to-go, for any and every occasion.

With fancy food, comes fancy cocktails. Mon Cheri’s beverage menu is designed to complement the delicious menu with photo opportunities in mind. From the best champagnes and wines to visually appealing champagnebased cocktails, Mon Cheri will serve up drinks aimed to heighten the experience. The venue will be known for its elegant aesthetic with plush velvet seating, stylish lighting, custom murals, girly décor, vintage dishes, and pink china. Upon entering, guests will be greeted by Mon Cheri’s signature champagne cart located in front of its charming patio. Guests will enjoy dining in the all-season covered front and east patios and the expansive back courtyard that provides a romantic environment. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating and a full-service bar. Mon Cheri will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mon Cheri will soon be hiring for all positions.
