Welcome to Hills Galore and our group of bulls for sale in the 2025 sale season!

Since 1960 we have searched for Hereford genetics that will thrive in the harsh environment of Southwest Sask. Afer eight consecutive years of drought, we are still here, and it has certainly been a challenge. Tese bulls are raised on dry land pastures with no creep feed. Te weights you will see are of their dams without the beneft of extra feed. Tey are fed and sensibly developed for longevity.

We strive to produce cattle that are good footed, easy doing, docile and require no extra care. Our cowherd is good uddered and productive. With the exception of one bull, all of these bulls are out of cows bred and raised here at Hills-Galore. A good number of bulls are out of sires who are multi-trait leaders in both the Canadian and American Hereford Association, we are particularly proud of our own herd sires raised here who have achieved that status.

We continue to pursue genetics that are diferent from the other bulls in the Hereford breed, in an efort to ofer proven genetics that are a blend of traits that we believe will raise superior range bulls and great females. We are looking forward to calves sired by 2 new bulls we purchased last year - check out our latest additions.

We have always been a family operation, and I want to thank my wife Mary Kate, our daughters Julia and Georgia and our son Alex who is here on the farm with us. Stop in for a cofee and see the Hereford bulls along with a few select Angus bulls we have on ofer.

Truer words were never spoken by Jack and Bev Beeson, JB Ranch – Wayne Nebraska –they were right and Cal was the best genetic investment we have ever made. Tracing back to Hills-Galore Voodoo 39L, a bull Beeson’s purchased from us in our 2002 Denver pen and with over 150 daughters, grand daughter and great grand daughters in our herd, one can not help but appreciate the genetic strength of Cal with both his sons and daughters. The bulls are long, thick, deep sided, big ribbed with great feet, bulls that will go out and cover country to breed cows. His daughters are peas in a pod, attractive, sof made, excellent udders and temperaments like no other. He was a bull we used to add pigment. We will continue to push forward with his infuence in our program, a bull that was before his time and we were fortunate to have used heavily in our program. He is the sire of the dam of Resolute, Rewind and many more… he may have been a “once in a lifetime bull.”
