The diverse nationality mix of staff from different countries like Australia, China, Vietnam and India, means that you will have expert staff on-campus who speak your language and can easily assist you. Student Welfare Counsellors All of our branch campuses have Student Welfare Counsellors on hand who meet with students and run free workshops on a diverse range of topics, from mindfulness to culture shock and managing exam stress. Careers Counsellors Our Careers Counsellors run excellent workshops too, preparing students for the demands of the Australian workplace by offering workshops on resume writing, interview skills and employer networking, just to name a few! Student Engagement Officers Student Engagement Officers run yearround social and cultural events as well as offering exciting excursions. Academic Support In terms of academic support, students can opt to attend our free Academic Skills Workshops that are held on a regular basis on all campuses. Our Learning Advisers run different workshops throughout the year, from how to improve your academic writing and referencing skills, to the all-important exam preparation. Interconnected Libraries Students can use their student IDs to login to the main campus library to search and request books and learning materials. All requested items will be delivered to the student’s campus or branch campus of their choice. Student Mentors Student Mentors provide support to students who need assistance and the Student Representative Council is a leadership body of elected students who represent and advocate for all international students.

Accept your offer by following all the instructions in your International Offer Package. Make sure all the information in your International Offer Package is correct.
2. PREPARE Prepare the supporting documentation that you will need to apply, including: •

After you have paid your first deposit and followed all instructions, we will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) via email to you, so that you can apply for your visa.
6. VISA Check your visa requirements and apply for your visa. All students are required to meet the Australian Government’s Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Criteria: homeaffairs.gov.au
7. ARRIVAL Once your visa is granted, you can travel to Australia and start your course at Southern Cross University!
