Selected Works
This portfolio consists of some of my favorite school projects. It begins with a solar panel factory located in Atlanta near the Mercedes Benz Stadium. The factory challenges industry 4.0 by intersecting a two-story production floor through the building. This elevated production floor provides a pristine work environment to the blue-collar worker which they have never known. Following the factory is an art gallery located in Marietta Square. The gallery uses a facade derived from a textile study to not only establish the building’s artistic aesthetic, but to also serve as a shading device. The gallery is then followed by a private airplane hangar that takes the preconceived program of a private hanger and throws it straight out the window by doubling as a music venue on the ground floor and vintage guitar gallery on the second floor. Finally, the last project is a 5-story single family residence in the heart of Atlanta designed for a family of musicians. This house embraces a lightwell which runs through the entire house as well as an at home recording studio.

THE VIEW
The View is a solar panel production factory which aims to introduce Industry 4.0 and renewable energy through the blending of an industrial typology and an urbanistic revitalization to the site. The goal of The View is to create a building which is engaging, provocative, and sleek; all the while ensuring efficiency.
The View is located in Atlanta, Georgia across the street from the Five Points MARTA Station. The site offers premium location and views to the Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Midtown, as well as Underground Atlanta. A curved exterior allows these views to appear as people move throughout the building. Additionally, a cantilevered production floor challenges the essence of technological advancements in Industry 4.0 as it pierces the entire building merging urban life at street level to industrial life floating above the ground floor. *displayed in architecture gallery at Kennesaw State University

ROOT ST. GALLERY
Root St. Gallery is a Modern Art Gallery in the heart of the famous Marietta Square. Designed to give a modern artist a space to work as well as a space to portray their masterpieces, the project creates a comfortable environment with its direct attention to the importance of daylighting. Pristine lighting is an essential part to all art. To enable this condition, a sculptural facade derived from a study of textiles has been attached to the exterior of the project to diffuse the ideal amount natural diffused light needed to best portray any and all works of art.
The project includes a studio space for the artist on the third floor which is open to the main exhibition spaces on the first and second floors. All floor plates are visible and open to the next enhancing the openness and freedom aligned with the art realm. This spacious feel as well as the ability to admire the resident artist’s creation process live, brings the gallery to life through emotion and design.

FLY IN MUSIC
In this project, Fly In Music rethinks the purpose of an airplane hanger. This hanger takes a step away from the average program of a hanger by including a music venue, a vintage guitar gallery, as well as airplane storage. The hanger also includes 3 long strips of solar panels suspended from the roof to not only provide solar energy, but to also diffuse slivers of natural light into the upstairs gallery space.

THE SONG HOLE
The Song Hole is a multi-story home in Atlanta which includes a design generated by exploration of shapes pulled from paintings and Le Corbusier’s Maison Planiex. The house is meant for a Rock n’ Roll family including a home recording studio and a modern aesthetic including a lightwell right at the heart of the entire house.
