The View is a solar panel production factory which aims to introduce Industry 4.0 and renewable energy through the blending of an industrial typology and an urbanistic revitalization to the site. The goal of The View is to create a building which is engaging, provocative, and sleek; all the while ensuring efficiency.
The View is located in Atlanta, Georgia across the street from the Five Points MARTA Station. The site offers premium location and views to the Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Midtown, as well as Underground Atlanta. A curved exterior allows these views to appear as people move throughout the building. Additionally, a cantilevered production floor challenges the essence of technological advancements in Industry 4.0 as it pierces the entire building merging urban life at street level to industrial life floating above.

Flip & Sip is sited on the Las Vegas strip hovering over the iconic Bellagio fountains. This project transcends the historical notion behind a circus tent as well as a zoetrope, a classic circus toy, into a contemporary theatre, bar, and restaurant. The project provides three volumes inspired by the three acts of a classic circus show to create a sequence of imaginative spaces, each interconnected by weaving paths triggering the observer to immerse into a collective environment derived from classic Circus motifs.

The middle volume holds a central bar as well as a trampoline show happening just above the bar. The left volume holds the main event and largest show with a classic theatre in the round providing the most exhilarating and loudest show. Finally, the right volume houses an immersive restaurant where the booths are enclosed by the very skin of the project while ariel silk dancers perform throughout the entire evening immersing even the dining experience to the notion of Circus.

Root St. Gallery is a modern art gallery in the heart of the famous Marietta Square. Designed to give a modern artist a space to work as well as a space to portray their masterpieces, the project creates a comfortable environment with its direct attention to the importance of daylighting. Pristine lighting is an essential part to all art. To enable this condition, a sculptural facade derived from a study of textiles has been attached to the exterior of the project to diffuse the ideal amount of natural diffused light needed to best portray any and all works of art.
The project includes a studio space for the artist on the third floor which is open to the main exhibition spaces on the first and second floors. All floor plates are visible and open to the next enhancing the openness and freedom aligned with the art realm. This spacious feel as well as the ability to admire the resident artist’s live process, brings the gallery to life through emotion and design.

In this project, Fly In Music rethinks the purpose of an airplane hangar. This hangar strips programmatic preconceptions by including a music venue, a vintage guitar gallery, as well as airplane storage. The hangar also includes three long strips of solar panels suspended from the roof to not only provide solar energy, but to also diffuse natural light into the upstairs gallery space.
This project provides popular bands the opportunity to play intimate shows within a unique space. As the show begins, the band travels from the green room to the stage through a glass tunnel next to the crowd resembling a plane landing on the tarmac. Because of this iconic walk, Fly In Music provides an atmosphere like no other.

The Clearing creates a perceptual experience of the site by slowing down time in Scottsdale, Georgia. Located a few miles from a prominent steel mill, this project was submitted as a competition entry to the ACSA Steel Competition.

Creating a unique path derived from a phenomenological approach, The Clearing carves the site around a small valley created by an existing stream. The unique structure creates pockets ideal for circulation traveling along the stream resulting in a direct connection to nature. Being a spiritual center, The Clearing serves all sectors of any belief system in the world reminding the observer of the importance of the connection to the earth, ground, and sky. 3D WALL SECTION
