Every Student, Every School! Every Student, Every School! Every Student, Every School!

Connecting the community to advance excellence and enrich student opportunities through Edmond Public Schools.

As a proud board member of the Edmond Public Schools Foundation, I invite you to explore the incredible impact of your investment in the 2025–2026 school year.

The EPS Foundation exists to bridge the gap between what is funded and what is possible for students, educators, and schools, and in a rapidly changing world, that gap matters more than ever. Whether it's equipping classrooms with innovative tools or creating leadership development opportunities for our educators, your support helps drive real, measurable change.

In Edmond, we are fortunate to have a public school system that excels, but we are also aware that excellence doesn’t happen by accident. It takes intention. It takes collaboration. And it takes a community willing to invest not only in today’s students but in the future we want to build together.

Over the last year, I’ve seen firsthand how the Foundation’s focus on the Student Ambassador Leadership Program, Classroom Support, and Educator Awards have transformed lives

These are not just line items. They are stories. They are moments of collaboration, awakening, and belonging for students and teachers alike.

I’m especially proud to serve alongside leaders and volunteers who show up, time and time again, to ask the challenging questions, think big, and ensure our schools reflect the values and potential of our city Our work is a reflection of our belief: that every student in Edmond deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of circumstance.

Thank you for considering how you might be part of that work. We hope you find inspiration in these pages and see your own values reflected in the programs and possibilities ahead. Together, we are building more than strong schools. We are building a stronger community.

“Edmond Public Schools has been a part of my life since 2002, when I first walked through the doors as a kindergartner. It is so special to now have the opportunity to represent this incredible district. I hope to inspire and empower my students, just like so many educators here have inspired me!”

THE NEXT 40 YEARS!

This past year we were honored to commemorate 40 years of dedicated support for Edmond Public Schools, and in the next 40 years, we are excited to continue our dedicated support for students in the district! As we look to the future, we build on a legacy that started when our founding board members first recognized a critical need and gathered to devise a plan to assist the school district. We extend our deepest gratitude to the founding board members Ken Rees, Linda Elliott, Cindy Howard, Bill Grana, Mark Snyder, and Lyn Tatum and to all subsequent board members, donors, and volunteers who have tirelessly followed in their footsteps. Your enduring commitment has profoundly impacted our community and the education of countless students. Their vision has carried us through four decades of unwavering support, and we move forward with the same passion and purpose they instilled in our organization.

Our mission remains focused on providing immediate aid while establishing a foundation for long-term sustainability. As we forge ahead, we are dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy by investing in long-term sustainability through endowed funds for educator awards, scholarships, and the future needs of the district. We will continue to engage EPS students as Student Ambassadors to cultivate future leaders and advocates for the district.

This year, we will also continue to meet the current needs of the Edmond Public Schools district by supporting classroom projects through DonorsChoose, fostering the growth of Student Ambassadors, managing scholarships and awards that support students and educators in the district, and mobilizing community involvement and advocacy for public education in Edmond.

Your support matters! Your gift impacts students, their academic achievement and their success at school.

Student Ambassadors represent the EPS Foundation by increasing awareness of the Foundation in the community and their school. Students from EPS high schools are provided leadership, advocacy, and philanthropy opportunities, learning from leaders in the district and community how to give back by doing food drives, public speaking opportunities, and volunteering. This past year, the program was recognized by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence as an Outstanding Education Foundation Program

Classroom Support by utilizing DonorsChoose gets materials to classrooms, reducing the amount teachers spend out of pocket. EPSF invests in Kickstart grants and works extensively to partner with other donors to bring classroom projects to life! In the school year 2024-2025 there were 103,943 student learning experiences with over 700 DonorsChoose projects funded for Edmond Public Schools classrooms. This resulted in a 4 to 1 return on investment for every dollar provided by your donations, and almost $4oo,ooo going back into EPS classrooms!

The EPS Foundation manages 7 Student Scholarships and 6 Educator Awards that are provided through endowments. Educator awards, including Teacher of the Year and Support Personnel of the Year, are recognized at our annual event, Meet the Stars!

“Thank you again for this opportunity. I am truly humbled and honored by this recognition “ Eddie Hudson, 2025 Excellence In Leadership Award

A big part of how we serve Edmond Public Schools includes advocating for the needs of the district and its students while mobilizing the community to help meet those needs This includes advocating for EPS programs like Work Based Learning, the need to fill open employment positions, organizing and sharing information at community fairs, speaking in the community about how community members can support Edmond Public Schools and advocating for the ongoing needs of the district!

"Your support is truly appreciated and will make a lasting impact on their education and future. Again, thank you so much for your support for our classroom "

With gratitude, Mrs. Davis, Frontier Elementary
