SOMETHING NEW IN FLIGHT PHYSICS OF ALL TYPES OF AIRPLANE: “ANGULAR” LIFT COEFFICIENT - CAL (GOOGLE TRANSLATION FROM PORTUGUESE TO ENGLISH)

atmospheric space

This treatise reflects the scientific thinking of Alberto Santos Dumont involving knowledge of two areas: that of the Natural Sciences, the PHYSICS; and; that of the Exact Sciences, the MATHEMATICS. The study undoes “myth” in the atmospheric layer and “demystifies” magic number in the aeronautical project.

In the study there is the FLIGHT PHYSICS - (aerodynamics) - being demythified in the atmospheric space that surrounds the object “airplane” leaving the ground with “lift off speed” - VLOF - from any point of the earth and going to be involved with the fluid "air" formed by a layer of gases, identifying the Knowledge as Science that takes care the essence of things that interact on the planet's surface. The fundamental presence of the “ANGULAR” COEFFICIENT MATHEMATICS - (trigonometry) - is also unveiled in the aeronautical project, however, considered in this work only as a simple operation of relations between sides and angles of the triangles to obtain “angular” coefficients of lift (CAL) and also be thought of as Science that deals with the operation “mass for energy” as a dimensionless calculation intuited by Santos Dumont in the years 1906 and 1907, observing the concepts of FLIGHT THEORY of his time.
