If the pace of enquiry carries on at it's current rate, we'll be down to thin pickings earlier than usual. The flats are in “number of rooms” order and then price order, within each rooms/number group. This layout means you can easily find the flats that work for you – and your budget. Once you’ve selected your perfect flat, complete the online application form or complete the form in the centre of this magazine. These are also available on our website – www.edinburgh.co.nz and you’re underway. We have also made viewing a flat easier, simply visit www.edinburgh.viewingtracker.com and book your viewing times online. What dollars do you need up front? Not as many as you think. Edinburgh does not charge a letting fee, so all you need is one week’s rent and a bond equivalent to four weeks’ rent. Try door-knocking and see if the tenants are happy to give you the grand tour, or go to www.edinburgh.viewingtracker.com to book an appointment to view them. Once you’ve decided on a winner, fill in an application form each, either online or a printed version, and send them into our office at 578 George Street, Dunedin. When completing the form make sure you bring your Drivers Licence, Passport or 18+ Card with you for us to photocopy. Please allow 3 - 5 working days for the processing of your application. Go to our Q&A section on our website for some of those trickier questions you may have. One of our fantastic Property Managers will get in touch to let you know if you have been accepted, and to organise a time for you all to come in and sign the lease. Get your power and internet connected (if it isn’t already), and set up your flat account for rent payments. Your bond and week-in-advance needs to be paid before we can hand over the keys on the 1st of January, so make sure everyone is sorted early!
