The work of this RFP is segmented as described by KCMO Human Relations Department (HRD). Only M/WBE firms having an HRD certification are invited to respond.

TAB C - Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise Approach 1.

The scope of this RFP is open to all interested bidders. The KCI New Terminal Project requires participation by firms certified as MBE or WBE by Kansas City's Human Relations Department (HRD). Please identify how your team can support the Project goals of 20% MBE and 15% WBE participation for this scope of work. Be specific on the proposed structure, M/WBE percentage commitments, and the measures you would put in place to help the Project team achieve these goals.

Responses to this RFP that include evidence of responder’s current engagement of the City's M/WBE contractors, as well as creativity in developing means to increase participation on this project will be viewed favorably.

Questions Are firms currently in the process of getting M/WBE Certified allowed to participate in this RFP?

No, the primary scope of this RFP is for construction progress photography. Video and drone services are only optional scope ads.

Will 4k capability be required and or considered in addition to high definition?

Yes, 4K capabilities will be considered.

Will night vision photography be required in addition to daytime?

While not required, please note if you have the capabilities to photograph the site at night.

Will video be shot in :30 or :60 frames per second?

Will there be a need for time lapse videos?

Will ariel photography be exported to Autodesk native file format?

Will real time digital models be viewed on web browser?

What are the technical scope requirements for progress photography? Will images need to be linked to project plans?

Page 4 Project Schedule-Commercial Close for Development Agreement Dec 13, 2018, what does this mean?

That is the anticipated date for the Commercial Close of the Developer and KCMO/KCAD contract (Development Agreement). Commercial Close is now scheduled to take place in January 2019.

Page 4 #1 Monthly jobsite progress photos-is there flexibility for weather consideration?

How will specific photo request be provided from Edgemoor to contractor? Will it come from multiple PM’s? Is there a marketing/media department that we will work with? Is it expected to take photos of project “first”, first wall going up, first time concrete is poured, first safety barricade, etc?

Shoots will be cordinated month-to-month through a primary Edgemoor contact. The scope is to photo-document the construction progress of the project on a monthly basis. If there are particular "firsts" that are needed, Edgemoor will coordinate these on a time and materials basis.

We expect the selected photographer to primarily be photographing construction progress on site. If additional photography services for special events would be needed we would provide a minimum of five (5) days notice.

Drone photos and/or videos is an optional scope item. If including that service in your proposal, please specify how often you would recommend including drone footage.

How will the monthly progress photographs be used? Do you want a Photojournalistic approach or simple documentation of the construction progress or a mix of both?

Please refer to page 5 of the RFP (Licensing and Third Parties). Photos will be used for inhouse and external (printed and electronic) marketing materials, public relations, social media, presentations, etc.

Will the majority of the monthly progress photographs be shot from the ground level? What will be the % mix of ground shots, drone and video?

100% of monthly progress photographs will be taken from "ground level". Drones and videos are potential, optional scope ads.

In the 'GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION' you mention a number of terminal At this point in time, we are requesting the selected photographer shoot at the primary facility sites. How many of these sites will likely need to be captured? Will the site Terminal A site where the new terminal will be located (which would include the new request change every month? parking facility). Possibly, yes, unless views are interrupted by construction equipment or other obstructions.

Regarding the 'Initial Progress Visits,' you state they will include at least 30 views. Initially, 30 views of the entire site. As construction progresses, additional views/vantage points will be needed.

How is that term being used? Is that the number of sites to be captured, or number of photos, or does it mean 30 views of the entire ste?

Tab D – Pricing states; 'Include an estimate for total number of hours per month 6-8 hours on site per visit plus studio time (editing, delivery, etc). to accomplish the scope of work, including any notes regarding potential increase in number of hours each month as the project construction progresses.' *Providing an estimate depends specifically on what is requested. Historically, is there a range of hours or anticipated number of hours to deliver the scope of work and potential increases, based on your experience with this type of construction project in other cities?

There isn't a line item for video editing. Are you requesting the delivery of raw video footage?

In addition to our internal team, we plan to include freelancers on this project team. Â Is there anything I should be aware of or do we need to include any additional information in our proposal related freelancers we may engage?

If you have video editing capabilities, please include and note that in your bid. We are comfortable with just the raw files but are open to already edited video.

Freelance photographers are acceptable.
