Pudieras is the imperfect subjunctive form of the verb poder. In Spanish, the imperfect subjunctive is used in the same situations as the present subjunctive (uncertainty, doubt, expressing emotion, desire or necessity), but when the WEIRDO verb is in the preterite, imperfect, conditional or past perfect tense.

*There are two sets of endings in the imperfect subjunctive: -RA and -SE. You can choose from either set of endings for all verbs. You only need to use one set of endings, and the -RA endings are more commonly used. However, it is a good idea to be able to recognise both sets of endings.
