Purpose and Need

• Purpose of the project

▪Improve accessibility of the transportation system for the public

• Need for the project

▪Add additional pavement connecting sidewalk to the street curb and gutter at transit stops

▪Updates will meet Public Right-of-Way

Proposed Improvements

• Transit Stops:

▪Construct concrete boarding and alighting areas at existing transit stops and connect to existing pedestrian circulation paths with compliant slopes and clearances

Proposed Design Overview

• Example Transit stop improvement

• Added sidewalk between existing sidewalk and street curb and gutter for accessibility.

Traffic Control

• Vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be routed around bus stop locations during construction:

▪Access will be maintained to adjacent properties during construction

▪Traffic control will be set up for approximately a week at each station location
