Your donation is crucial to meet the goals of our fundraising efforts. Buy a Brick to Build a School Our Buy a Brick Campaign will kick off in October and last through the end of the school year. This allows you to commemorate your support of EPA in stone. Additionally, it helps make sure our new elementary school building and our middle school remodel have all the needed amenities for a world class education. Bricks are tax-deductible over the actual item cost. SC Moon Fest This community-wide event engages our local community and brings awareness to our school. It’s also a great time for EPA families to celebrate a Chinese custom together with their extended EPA family and raise a little dough! The Moon Fest will be held September 10th at the West Columbia Riverwalk.

The Lucky Panda Raffle is a raffle game card fundraiser directed by the Development Office. Traditional fundraiser prizes will be given to students for selling tickets. Cash and other fun prizes are won in lieu of selling goods. Forms will come home in September. Tickets are taxdeductible, minus the value of any winnings. Chinese New Year

EPA Fundraising Why, Who, and How for 2016/2017

Our biggest event of the year is open to the public and is so much fun! This year’s event will be on January 28th at ETV’s studios. Please consider having your business sponsor our event. Donations are tax deductible and sponsors receive acknowledgment of giving advertised to over 1000 Midlands families and businesses. PTO Boosterthon PTO host the Boosterthon Fun Run in Spring. This fun engaging fundraiser focuses on physical fitness and character development and supports the PTO efforts all year long. * Boosterthon Fun Run is a for profit business and keeps a portion of the proceeds. PTO is an officer elected organization who manages their money separately from the school.

Other Needs! BETA Club and Student Government will hold various small fundraisers such as bake sales and school stores throughout the school year to fund their community projects. Seventh grade students will fundraise to fund their inaugural 7th Graders’ Trip to China in May.

Out of the Box Education Items like Mandarin curriculum are not provided for with state resources. Hands on experiences are remembered long after lecture. We aim to provide schoolwide in-house field trips to enhance curriculum.
