Extended Care East Point Academy offers a robust Extended Care and Extracurricular program that is designed to nurture students' educational, social and emotional well being in a fun and inviting environment. Who: 4k-8th Grade Students When: Monday-Friday, End of School - 6:00 Cost: $65 per week or $15 per day Additional Information: During extended care, students have a snack, physical activity and homework time. Archery

Basketball

Additional Information: This year our middle school students will play on a school team that will play against other local schools. Elementary students will be on our intramural league. Beta Club The National Beta Club is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students across the United States. Its purpose is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students.

Dance Althea Dance is a performing arts organization that's goal is to give everyone the opportunity to learn high quality dance technique and performance. Your dancer will love this blended class of ballet, hip hop and jazz.

Karate Join Master Dan Bernardo of KDA Karate Academy whose goal is to offer a martial arts culture that develops each student into a confident and skilled person, helping them to become an individuals that serve the community, help others and betters themselves.

Media Club

Members of the Media Club will learn about communication through illustrations, photographs, podcasts, videos and expository writing. Occasional guest speakers will talk about careers in media, members will create student led projects and there will be a local field trip. Run Hard

Run hard is an 8 week program that trains students for a 5k race against runners from other schools in the Midlands. Students will focus on a different core value each week. Who: 2nd-8th Grade Students When: Tuesday & Thursday 4:00-5:15

Running and Walking Club Get your students' blood pumping and brain ready to learn. EPA Primary's morning Walking and Running Club is a great way to start the day. Who: 4k-1st Grade Students

Triple C Help your child take their Mandarin conversation skills to the next level with Triple C (Chinese Conversation Club). Students will practice their Mandarin while simulating a variety of situations n this fun and engaging weekly club.

Tutoring

EPA does not have a formal tutoring program but always strives to find academic assistance for students in need of additional help. Many teachers have weekly afternoon help sessions for their students. Additionally, fee based tutoring may be available for Mandarin as well as other core subjects. Who: 4k--8th Grade Students

Teachers are not permitted to tutor their own students on a fee basis, nor are they required to offer help sessions to their students or fee based tutoring to students outside of their classes. We will make every attempt to pair students with assistance.

Unlimited Hands on Science

Unlimited Hands-On Science is a hands-on science program that creates a positive, educational and fun environment. Learning sessions are based on the state of South Carolina's Curriculum Standards for Science and meet the educational and the personal needs of our students.
