This qualification is intended as a two-year programme for post-16 students. It is equivalent to up to three A Levels and is intended for those wanting to progress into the the world of sports coaching and development In addition, the breadth of content in this qualification allows students to progress to a variety of Higher Education and Degree level courses

COURSE STRUCTURE A typical week for a Level 3 student is made up of 16 hours of study, with the remaining time dedicated to full-time training as well as opportunities for relevant work experience.

THERE ARE NO EXAMS IN THE LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATIONS

PROGRESSION If you are not fortunate enough to continue your progression at the football club on the pitch and reach our Elite Development Squad/Third Year Programme, these qualifications enable you to progress elsewhere.

A substantial number of students move on to university each year, with popular undergraduate courses including Sports Science, Sports Development, PE Teaching, and Business Management.

Other learners progress into full-time work or on to an apprenticeship scheme.

WHY EASTLEIGH FC?

Our simple aim is to help talented, ambitious footballers progress in their careers on the pitch, whilst helping them continue their academic studies.

The scheme enables players to benefit from full-time training at a professional football club with UEFA qualified coaches, whilst playing in competitive national and regional leagues.
