Congratulations DHS Drama! Dardanelle High School Theater Program (affiliated with the 21st Century After School Enrichment Program at Dardanelle High School) presented Disney's Aladdin Jr. Friday, May 9th, and Saturday, May 10th, at the Dardanelle High School Cafeteria. The play is the fantastic tale of the street rat who became a prince! The Aladdin cast also preformed for the primary students Monday morning on May 12th. The play was directed by Mr. Eric Gamble, Mrs. Randi Gamble, Ms. Teresa Balloun and Mrs. Jamine White

Day 1 (periods 1-3 & 1/2 of 5th) of semester test is Tuesday, June 4.

Day 2 (periods 4-7 & 1/2 of 5th 0of semester test is Wednesday, June 5.

Day 3 is make up tests; teacher grades due in system by June 6 at 3:30 pm.

Summer school begins June 9th .

Spring Break Trip to Italy in 2015: This is a private trip (not school sponsored) . See Mrs. Busch for information!

Semester Test Lunch is as normal during both days of tests. Students who are not making up tests are not to be on campus or the campus of any other school on June 6th. Remember that a semester test is a requirement for credit in the class! No tests are to be given off this schedule. All classes are to be tested according to the schedule this includes mastery math classes & remediation classes. Teachers note that all 5th period classes are to have the whole (or last part of) the test on Wednesday June 4th & are to meet that day according to this test schedule.

Summer School Information: Cost for all remedial semesters is $85 per semester. Drivers’ Education costs $150. Fees are payable in full at the time of registration. Our Bard of Education does allow a down payment of $35 to hold a spot for you & two payments during April & May of the balance. The entire $85 must be paid prior to June. Partial payments may not be refunded. There is no payout plan for Driver’s Education. There is zero tolerance for absences, tardies, discipline situations in summer school. The student will be removed from class; Tuition is not refunded.

Rising Seniors & Parents: From July 1 until August 15th, Love’s, 205 Quay in Dardanelle will make the senior yearbook pictures. It is your responsibility to schedule yourself and go get your yearbook picture made during this time at Love’s. Don’t forget to make an appointment with Love’s! Dardanelle High School Student Council Election By: Dakota Thomas, DHS EAST/Student Council Reporter

Dardanelle High School’s Student Council is elected at the end of each school year by the student body; eligible voters include rising Freshman through rising Seniors. Each aspiring candidate is given a form to sign and submit with a designated number of required student and faculty signatures as a petition in favor of the student’s campaign. The election for the DHS Student Council of the 20142015 school year took place April 18, 2014. During the school’s advisory period at ten o’clock that morning, the candidates for President and Vice President delivered speeches to an audience comprised of the classes of current 8th grade students through current 11th grade students.
