Thank you to our Certified PGA HOPE Instructors Paul Hollstein, PGA, Jim Cichra, PGA, and Ronald Lucas, PGA/HOPE Coordinator, for their continued dedication and commitment to our veterans and golf.

The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 68 week curriculum led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military and cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the programming cost is accessible to all Veterans.

We had a wild Stableford Championship; Amateur Ryan Bilby and TSPGA Professional Michael Gervais pounded birdies and eagles and swung it out in a two-hole playoff after Gervais drained an eagle bomb on 18 to send it to extra holes.

Congratulations to Ryan "Big Shot Bilbs" Bilby from Follansbee, West Virginia, Marshall University, and Vietmeier Golf Center.

What an excellent clutch performance and showing by Michael Gervais. He played his game and wowed the crowd on 18. He also displayed incredible sportsmanship, as did Ryan Bilby on the playoff holes; both were loose and enjoying the competition.
