The American Cancer Society's Rick Dayton Golf Classic is a high-end, amenity-rich tournament that funds the Society's mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. While progress has been made in cancer research, we still have a lot of work to do. We invite you to support our efforts to finish the fight against cancer by joining us on Friday, May 10, at Longue Vue Golf Club for a day of first-class golf with a professional golfer, networking, and a late afternoon reception. We hope to see you on the course!

TRI-STATE PGA COMMUNITY CHATS YOUR ATTENDANCE IS REQUESTED (2 PDR POINTS APPLIED) We are thrilled to extend an exclusive invitation to our TSPGA Members for an exciting opportunity to connect and collaborate with fellow golf professionals in your local community. Our Tri-State PGA Community Chats are just around the corner, and we would be honored to have you join us. At these gatherings, there won't be any presentations or PowerPoint slides. Instead, it will be a relaxed and informal setting where you can connect with your Career Consultant, Garrett Korte, and Player Engagement Consultant, Kim Shafer, alongside other golf professionals in your area. This is an excellent opportunity to share your insights on what's been working and what challenges you've faced at your facilities over the past year. We believe in the power of community and learning from one another. These chats are designed for open dialogue, helping each other succeed, and celebrating your biggest victories from the past year. It's a chance to foster connections and explore how we can support each other in the golfing community.

2023 PGA National Day of HOPE Oct. 11 - Nov. 30, 2023 DONATE to PGA HOPE Tri-State

PGA STORIES PGA of America Kicks Off PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week & 7th National Day of HOPE Campaign. (Via PGA.com on Wednesday, October 11, 2023)

EXCERPTS... PGA National Day of HOPE, a seven-week campaign centered around Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and continues through Nov. 30, celebrates our nation’s heroes while raising awareness for PGA HOPE. PGA HOPE is a national program that introduces golf to Veterans and active-duty military to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being through a six- to eight-week developmental curriculum taught by PGA of America Golf Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency. PGA HOPE is currently being offered at more than 350 locations in the U.S., across 46 States, and 40 PGA of America Sections. In 2022, the program positively impacted 7,500 Veterans; the 2023 goal is 11,000 Veterans served. More than 2,500 PGA of America Golf Professionals have received specialized training in using adaptive equipment and instructing Veterans. “We are very proud of the impact PGA HOPE has made, as it’s not just another program to introduce this great game, but a program using golf to change lives, and in some instances, save the lives of our Veterans,” says PGA of America President John Lindert.
