Course management, it's also the worst part of my game
What is your best round of Golf?
59 on a par 68 course
Can you name two of your favorite golf courses that you've played on, and what makes them unique to you? Cypress Point, best walk-in golf; Laurel Valley Golf Club, spent most of my life here.
If you could play one round of golf with any three people (alive or deceased), who would it be with?
Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, and my father

What initially drew you to the game of Golf, and how did you get started?
Began working at Cadiz CC at age 12, mom dropped me off in the morning, and dad picked me up at night.
Please give us some insight into your prior positions. After college, I worked at Wildcat Run in Ft. Myers, FL. from fall 86' and came to Laurel in May of 87'. I went back and forth a few years until I accepted a year-round position at Laurel.
What made you decide to pursue a career in the PGA of America, and how long have you been a PGA member? Tried to play professionally out of college until the opportunity at Laurel Valley arose. I’ve been a PGA member for 33 years.
Talk about being a PGA of America member, what it means, and having PGA status after your name. Being a PGA member means you are a leader at your facility and the go-to person each member and guest looks to for guidance.

What wisdom can you offer about golf careers and the importance of becoming a PGA member?
There are many avenues to explore in golf as it relates to careers. To become a PGA professional, it takes patience, persistence, dedication, and a commitment to a high standard of service. Once you achieve membership, you need to continue to grow and learn your craft. Always ask questions. A great leader is usually the best listener.

2001 - Tri-State PGA Merchandiser of the Year (Private)
2014 - Tri-State PGA Professional of the Year.
2020 - Tri-State PGA Merchandiser of the Year (Private)
2025 - Global Golf Post Pro's Pro of the Year.
