Can you name two of your favorite golf courses that you've played, and what makes them unique to you?

Pittsburgh Field Club because it has uphill, downhill, dogleg right, dogleg left, short and long par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s, offering every type of hole you could want. And also Laurel Valley, because of its beauty.

If you could play one round of golf with any three people (alive or deceased), who would you choose to play with?

My father, Sam Snead (his golf hero), and Bobby Jones (my golf hero)

Where did you grow up?

McKeesport, PA

Tell us about your family.

-Are you married, and do you have any children? Wife, two daughters, and four grandchildren

What initially drew you to the game of Golf, and how did you get started?

My father was a very good player, and we were blessed to play golf together for 40 years.

Could you provide us with some insight into your previous positions?

Head Professional at Butler's golf course 1986-2004, Teacher and merchandiser at Cool Springs, and now at Frosty Valley.

What made you decide to pursue a career in the PGA of America, and how long have you been a PGA member?

The love of the game and helping others enjoy it more. I've been a PGA Member since 1992.

Talk about being a PGA of America member, what it means, and having PGA after your name.

Allowing me to use the resources and name recognition has opened all the doors for having a career in golf.

What wisdom can you offer about golf careers and the importance of becoming a PGA member/achieving membership status?

If you want a career in golf, becoming a PGA member is your most important step. The PGA, especially our section, also provides tremendous competitive playing opportunities.
