The year 2020 was for every person alive unprecedented in many respects. The reality of the Global Pandemic of COVID-19 has changed the way we live and interact with each other.

Yet as women, we know all too well how to clean up even the messiest of messes, and bring order out chaos and confusion.

Now more than ever we are encouraged to stay inspired and be strengthened as we work to make a positive impact in the world.

ABOUT SHAMELIA Shamelia is the Founder of The Virtuous Woman Project. which is a vision revealed by God over 15 years ago. Since then she has believed in it and has guarded and nurtured it through its many stages.

In understanding the delicate nature of visions ,Shamelia commits to total obedience and faith in God, and carefully follows the leading of the Holy Spirit to ensure that the vision grows into what God revealed to her. She has been fervent in prayer so that she is in partnership with God to accomplish the mission of the vision.

The vision is inspired by the Scripture at: Proverbs 31:10-31. The revelation came through Shamelia's curiosity about the practical role of a woman. She learned that the character of the The Virtuous Woman in Proverbs 31 makes a great role model for women who desire to live a godly and fulfilling life.

The reality of The Virtuous Woman Project is the result of her commitment to the work that God has entrusted in her care, and her faith to believe that every woman can live a life that pleasing God when they embrace virtue as the standard to live by.

THE YEAR OF THE WOMAN THE YEAR OF THE WOMAN 2021 by: Elaine Simpson Women are uniquely designed and blessed with an admirable nature to nurture. There is so much that we must do, and there are so many who depend on us to be cared for.

As we embrace our role as care givers and execute our tasks daily, we should know that we have the aid and support of a God Who deeply loves and cares for us.

The world as we know it is changing, in this season, we have the opportunity to put our faith to the test, and prove that God is Who He says He is. He stands ready to exhibit His unchanging nature in expression of His unconditional love for us.

Now is the prime time to invite God, Who is the Controller of all things to step in and make His presence and power felt in our lives and in our world.

As part of our vision focus for the year, 2021, we are declaring the next 11 months to be: THE YEAR OF THE WOMAN. You may agree with me that our world is in need of healing. With our nurturing nature, I believe that we can do much to help it to heal.

I am inviting us all to consider accepting the mandate to help to bring healing in the best way we know how- through our prayers, faith and works.

Through the Scriptures we have learned much about the effectual and fervent prayers of women such as Hannah and Esther.

We too have this privilege to approach God with confidence believing that He will hear and answer us as we submit our petitions asking Him to "heal our land".

During the remaining months of the year, you are invited to join us in prayer to intercede on behalf of our homes, communities, country, region, and our our world. They can all do well with a touch from God. The late Dr. Myles Monroe in his book: The Power of Prayer teaches an important truth. "God will not move on earth unless men and women pray. Let us accept the mandate to pray, and invite God to partner with us to positively impact our world.

The Mandate

Our Heavenly Father is waiting to hear the prayers from our humble hearts so the Word of God can be fulfilled:

Commit to a period of Prayer and Fasting on the first 3 days of each month (1st to the 3rd)

The Purpose To entreat the God of Heaven to: 1. Teach us the truth about Himself, His laws, will and purpose.

2. To be restored to righteousness (right standing with God) through confession and repentance of the sins of: ourselves, family members, relatives, friends , the citizens of our country and the inhabitants of the world.

Let us join hearts to believe our God for the healing of our land.

Reflecting on the Year 2020

The faithfulness of God was evident in a time of uncertainty and we are eternally grateful.

The plan was to host a Queen Event at the end of each quarter, and we were successful.
