Before making a final written text of descriptive text, you should make an outline first. The purpose in creating an outline are making easier the writer in writing a text, helping the writer in defining the topics, and expanding the information in developing the topic.
Here are some steps that you can follow in making writing outline: Finding the theme or idea of the text. This is important because the theme is the essence of the text that you are going to write.
Deciding the title of the text. You should not let the title mismatch with the content of the text, otherwise the readers will be confused and feel disappointed when reading it.
Collecting the data After determining the theme and title, you should collect data and materials that you will use in writing. The materials and data are in the form of topics that will be written in the text.
