As a qualified Mechanical and Safety Engineer, with a background in education and psychology, Peter joined DuPont in 1985. Within DuPont, Peter began his career as an HSE and Operations Lead for a production facility in Germany. In 1998, he transferred to DuPont Safety Resources, serving as a Consultant, Project Manager and Account Manager, and specializing in the establishment and improvement of safety management systems. He has helped companies in many sectors, especially oil & gas, to dramatically improve safety performance. Peter currently lives near Frankfurt, Germany.

During the last 6 years Daniel is managing the European Technical Centre, ETC, in Geneva which is a multi-activity polymers and fibres science & application development centre with more than 200 employees.
Ian Hudson President DuPont Europe, Middle East & Africa President DuPont de Nemour International Sàrl Geneva A former European business director of ICI’s Polyester Films business, he joined DuPont in 1998, when the company acquired that business, and became regional director Europe for DuPont Polyester Films. After spending 5 years in Wilmington, Del., as global business director – Sorona®/Bio-PDO™ in the DuPont BioBased Materials business, he relocated to Geneva, Switzerland, in 2004, when he was named regional director – DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems and DuPont Nonwovens. He was named to his current position in April 2006. After graduating from Oxford University with MA degree in French and German, Mr. Hudson’s career with ICI spanned 18 years, during which time he held a number of commercial and business management roles, including assignments in France and in the United States, as well as extensive travel in Asia. Mr. Hudson is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of CEFIC (European Cemical Indutry Association), member of the Board of EuropaBio (European Association of bio industries), member of the Board of the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Foundation Board of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD). Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Jany CEF-Panel; European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Jany retired 2008 from his active job. He was the head (director) of the Centre of Molecular Biology at the Federal Research Centre for Nutrition and Food at Karlsruhe, now renamed Max-Rubner Institute. He told professorships for biochemistry at the universities at Stuttgart and Darmstadt. 2008-2011 he was the chairman of the scientific panel for food contact materials, enzyme, flavorings and processing aids (CEFpanel) and member of the Scientific Committee of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Parma, Italy. Now he is member of the CEF-panel and vice-chair of the enzyme working group. He is vice president for teaching and research at the Wadi-International University, Hwasch-Homs, Syria. He is author or co-author of 190 scientific papers, 5 books, more than 220 popular scientific contributions in magazines and books.
Gert Keiner EMEA Food Industry Leader DuPont Corporate Sales and Marketing Gert, leads the food industry board in Europe, Middle East and Africa, it’s a food competence center, where Gert is combining and utilizing all DuPont food related products and core capabilities from farm to fork. In his role, Gert and his team maps DuPont foodprints across food value chain, key players and decision makers. Additional he is creating workstream network to Asia and America, contribute to globalization of the food approach, introducing and coaching ‘Go-To-Market-Process’ in those regions. Gert earned a degree in food technology from University of Applied Lifescience Lemgo/Lippe in Germany. Gert has held a wide variety of positions in Europe & US mainly in meat processing and food ingredients industries such as R&D; Application Engeneering, Project Management and Sales. Gert’s home is in Munich/Bavaria, he is married with Monika, has 2 daughters and he loves mountaineering, skiing, music and nature.
N. Roy Kerrison Senior Consultant DuPont Sustainable Solutions Roy has over 30 years of experience in Safety Training. He started his career as Wireline Engineer (Electronics) in Schlumberger. In this role, he worked for 5 years, where he was involved in oil and gas exploration in South America, Off-shore, land and jungle working with explosives and radioactive material. He continued promoting the DuPont core values including Safety, both from within and during his time as CEO of an International Consultancy and Training Business. Since joining DuPont Sustainable Solutions (DSS) in 2006, Roy has successfully designed, managed and implemented a Global Project as well as a major project in Ukraine, both multi-million dollar assignments.

Paul has been with DuPont and Danisco for nearly 9 years, starting in Applications where he worked to find solutions for Dairy customers. He spent the last 4 years in Product and Industry Management, firstly in Food Protection, then BioActives, and now in Bioprotection. Paul is currently responsible for the Protective Antimicrobials & Antioxidants business in EUROW and also globally responsible for the Coagulation & Flavor Enzymes business.
Alain Minelli Product Line Manager Qualicon Diagnostics EUROW, BioProtection DuPont Nutrition & Health Alain Minelli graduated from the University of Lugano in 2005 with a Master in Marketing. He has worked for DuPont Qualicon Diagnostics in different positions for the last 5 years and has developed an in-depth understanding of the microbiological testing needs in the food industry. Alain is also currently serving on the organizing committee of IAFP's European Symposium on Food Safety.
Martial Pabon, PhD. Tech. Support, R&D Manager, Europe, Middle East & Africa DuPont Chemicals and Fluoroproducts Martial Pabon joined DuPont September 2002, following the acquisition of Atofina’s fluorinated telomers business. In his Technology function, Martial leads the R&D programs and the technical support activities in the region for Fluoropolymers and Specialties as well as Chemical Solutions. He set up the Mantes Technical and Expertise Center (MTEC) in April 2003, dedicated to technical support and R&D for products in Surface Protection Solutions business. Martial was born in France and lives in the Geneva area with his family. He has a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg. He and co-authors have published 18 papers in per-reviewed scientific journals and is co-inventor for 12 patents (US, EP and WO).
