Advanced technology with the BAX System ®

Beyond accurate results for presence/absence, the BAX System offers advanced capabilities for multiple target detection in the same well. Probe-based chemistry can provide for additional information, such as species differentiation within each sample. ® With a single program for several bacteria, the BAX System allows you to test multiple targets in the same run, up to 96 samples per batch. Tabletted PCR reagents, which enable minimal hands-on time using standard laboratory techniques, provide for long shelf life and consistency. Friendly screen prompts guide you through the entire procedure, reducing the need for highly skilled technicians and expensive training. Depending on the test chemistry, the system delivers results on prepared samples within 1 to 3.5 hours of processing time.
