The Minutes will make a very welcome return this festive season when they headline New Day Rising Christmas Bash in O Connells, Quay St this Saturday night. It’s been a massive year for the trio as the bands reputation gets bigger and bigger. So far in 2012 they have played support slots to the likes of Foo Fighters, Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher. Third Smoke will be the main support on the night, while the town’s top punk band The Gakk have also been added to the line. ONOFF will kick off this stellar night and the boys are well up for it. Doors open 8.30 with the first band on stage at 9pm. Admission €12.
