HEADCOACH
The foundation of Duluth High School Football is built on Respect, Effort, and Discipline, with a mission to develop champions on and off the field. Our goal is to create an environment where student-athletes excel academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually, preparing them not just for the next game, but for life beyond football. We believe that building a champion is necessary to win a championship, and we instill a mindset of excellence that extends far beyond the field—developing future husbands, fathers, and leaders in our community.
Success doesn’t happen alone. It takes a united effort from our parents, community, and partners to provide the necessary resources for our student-athletes. While we receive some support from the county, we depend on our Booster Club and generous sponsors to fund critical needs such as:
● Player Safety: Reconditioning helmets for protection
● Player Nutrition: Providing meals after workouts and games
● Player Experience: Purchasing new uniforms and equipment
● Player Development: Hiring additional coaches to enhance instruction and training
● And many other essential resources needed to run a first-class program
As I enter my seventh year as head coach, I am excited about the growth of this program and the direction we are headed. Duluth is a special community—one that is passionate about football and deeply invested in the success of its young athletes. Engaging the community is essential to building a program that not only competes at a high level but also serves as a source of pride and inspiration for our school and city.
