I am thrilled to welcome each and every one of you to Duluth High School and our Football Game Day, an event that truly embodies the spirit and pride of the Duluth community. As we kick off this exciting new season, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all Wildcats—students, parents, alumni, and community members alike.

We are ALL IN! We are committed to loving our students and upholding high expectations for everyone. Our football program has always been a source of unity, camaraderie, and school spirit. Our players have shown incredible dedication, grit, and hard work throughout the off-season, strengthening their bond as a team and honing their skills. Their early morning efforts and unwavering commitment have prepared them to excel, both on the field and in life.

Why I Chose My Number:This is only my third year ever touching a football, so I didn’t choose my number—I'm making the most of it as I learn and grow in the game.

Something People Don’t KnowAbout Me: I live an hour and 30 minutes away from school, but the distance doesn’t stop me from giving my all every day.

Most Memorable Sports Experience at Duluth High School: My most memorable sports experience was our overtime win against Jackson County.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goals include playing college football, opening my own business, and overall, being successful in whatever I pursue.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as the best running back to ever touch Duluth, leaving a legacy of excellence on the field.

Biggest Influence onAthletic Career: My childhood friend Michael has been the biggest influence on my athletic career. He taught me the game of football and helped spark my passion for it.

Why I Chose My Number: Nobody but Lonnie has been good with this number, so I want to make a name for it and leave my own legacy.

Something People Don’t KnowAbout Me: I had surgery as a kid that I almost didn’t make it out of, but it made me stronger and more determined.

Favorite Subject in School: Math

Favorite Quote from a Coach: “Win today.”This quote motivates me to focus on giving my best effort every single day.

Most Memorable Sports Experience at Duluth High School: My most memorable sports experience was during the Jackson County game in the 2023-2024 season.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goals are to achieve 700 yards with 10 touchdowns.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as the best slot receiver to ever play at Duluth, leaving my mark on the field and in the record books.

Why I Chose My Number: I chose number 5 because it was the first sports number I ever wore, and I’ve been wearing it ever since.

Most Memorable Sports Experience at Duluth High School: My most memorable experience was during my sophomore year against Berkmar, when I ran back 20 yards on a fake extra point and dove into the end zone for the score.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goals are to make it to college and have a successful career.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as a nice guy.

Biggest Influence onAthletic Career: My mom has been the biggest influence on my athletic career. Her support and encouragement have driven me to excel both on and off the field.

Something People Don’t KnowAbout Me: I have six siblings, which has taught me a lot about teamwork and perseverance.

Most Memorable Sports Experience at Duluth High School: My most memorable sports experience was blocking a punt in varsity early in my high school career.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goals are to keep playing football and eventually work in a restaurant, pursuing my passion for the culinary arts.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as a nice guy who always gave his best and treated everyone with kindness.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered like my uncle Rodger—someone who left a lasting impact.

Favorite Pre-Game Song: I don’t have a specific favorite pre-game song. I focus on the game ahead and let my preparation set the tone.

Why I Chose My Number: I chose the number 9 because it's the same number my dad wore. It’s a way to carry on his legacy and honor him every time I step on the field.

Something People Don’t KnowAbout Me:At one point, I almost quit football, but I found the strength and passion to keep going, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goals are to play football in college and build a steady career that I’m passionate about.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as someone who always gave their best and strived to be the best I could be, both on and off the field.

Goals Upon Graduation: My main goal is to be 100% sure I graduate and avoid anything that might keep me from reaching that goal.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered for making the most of my final year and having the best experience possible.

Goals Upon Graduation: My goal is simple—just to pass 12th grade and move forward.

How I Want to Be Remembered at Duluth High School: I want to be remembered as one of the best linemen to ever play here at Duluth.
