A wide range of manual and automated glass capillary viscometers are available for use with the EVS-TCB Viscometer Bath (see www.psl-rheotek.com) For transparent and opaque liquids, PSL recommends the ASTM Ubbelohde – the viscometer constant is independent of temperature and the instrument is easy to fill and operate. ASTM Ubbelohde viscometer – for kinematic viscosity - ASTM D445, ISO 3104, IP 71 Part 2. Suitable for measuring transparent and opaque liquids. Approximate sample volume 18mL. Supplied complete with certificate of calibration by the PSL Calibration Laboratory (accredited to ISO 17025).
