Stirrer speed
The stirrer speed is pre-set by the factory according the bath model. The stirrer speed is independent of load i.e. a more viscous fluid will pull more current but will not reduce the speed of stirring. 10L bath – set up at factory 1200 rpm (2V) 18L bath – set up at factory 1500 rpm (2.5V) If necessary the stirrer speed can be adjusted by the on-board speed controller (main board on LHS) but this may affect the bath temperature calibration. Please contact Technical Service at PSL before changing the stirrer speed.
