Temperature Calibration

Temperature Calibration

A master “resistance” calibration of the bath is carried out by the factory. In addition, the bath is calibrated at the desired set-point of use, or if not known at 25°C (model with cooling, or 40°C without cooling). A certificate of calibration is supplied with the bath confirming the OFFSET to apply from date of first use (see example certificate below). In use, the customer can carry out their own OFFSET calibration at any point between the minimum and maximum bath operating limits (e.g. 20 to 50°C with integrated cooling or up to 100°C without cooling). This will require the use of a calibrated reference thermometer – PSL Rheotek recommends the F100 digital contact thermometer, which we can be supplied with a certificate of calibration.
