A Note From the Director Welcome to Duchesne Academy’s 5th Annual Dance Show, Broadway Melody. Thank you so much for supporting our Duchesne Dancers and our Fine Arts Program. We are grateful for you and your patronage.
Broadway Melody was created as a love note to the great White Way! As we gather to celebrate the magic of musical theater, we invite you to step into a world where stories come alive through song and dance. This production pays homage to the vibrant legacy of Broadway, showcasing the heart, passion, and creativity that make this art form so special.
Each number in our performance was carefully selected to highlight the different styles that define Broadway, from classic hits such as Oklahoma, which first came to the stage in 1943, to contemporary favorites, such as Wicked, which opened in 2003.
I encourage you to immerse yourself in the experience, let the music sweep you away, and appreciate the incredible talent of our cast and crew. Their hard work and dedication shine through every moment on stage.
