10 Reasons You Need The Church 10 Reasons You Need The Church
The Church is not a construct of man. We didn't come up with this idea it is God's plan. It has been, currently is, and will remain in the heart of God. I pray that you will learn how to love the Church because you know its purpose and value.
'Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.' Hebrews 10:22-25 NKJV
Reason #1 - It’s a commandment
Jesus gave us the most important commandment: love God, and your neighbor as yourself. We can’t fulfill the great commandment if we forsake the assembling of ourselves together. It is a blessing for our own good and for fruitfulness in our lives
Reason #2 - Consider one another
Consider one another by taking our eyes off ourselves. Consider coming together as a family to be a witness to the world. Consider others to stir up our love and good works. God loves us whether we come together or not, but when we don't, our love for God changes.
Reason #3 - We are being assembled together
God is gathering together independent parts, agendas, visions, and directions into something bigger than ourselves The Bride of Christ requires some assembly, and it can be messy, but we will see the glory of God in His house. He is partnering with us in being assembled, and you can't be assembled if you're not present.
Reason #4 - The Church is the pillar and ground of the truth
'These things I write to you, though I hope to come to you shortly; but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.' 1 Timothy 3:14-15
Reason #5 - Jesus is building His Church
'And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.'
Matthew 16:18
The local church is a spiritual covering from the darkness. As we walk in the unity of the Spirit and the bond of peace, people can feel His presence, His covering, and His peace There is also accountability and correction available to us
Reason #6 - Jesus knew we needed shepherds
Shepherds in our lives are invaluable. Having a pastor and elders who care and pray for us will keep us strong in our faith and from being scattered. The culture of this world is designed to scatter, divide, and destroy us.
'Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.' Matthew 9:35-36
Reason #7 - Shepherds feed and lead the flock
We all need someone in our lives to watch over us like a shepherd. The purpose of a shepherd is to feed and lead. A pastor is a gift from God. Someone who loves Him and loves us, who has knowledge and understanding Find a pastor with Jesus's heart who will gather and not scatter, and will give you knowledge and understanding
'And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.' Jeremiah 3:15
Reason #8 - We need help to work out and walk out the message
Revelation must be worked out and walked out, and that's what a good church culture does we work it out and we walk it out together. Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding mean: here's what God said, here's what it means, and here's how you apply it to your life We all need understanding to avoid misapplication of God’s Word
Reason #9 - We are equipped to do the work of the ministry

The fivefold ministry gifts are not intended e work, but to equip the Church ork. We were not created to be and spectators, but contributors pants. The fivefold gifts are prepare the Church.

doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head Christ from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.' Ephesians 4:11-16
Reason #10 - Pastors and shepherds demonstrate their love for Jesus
'So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You” He said to him, “Feed My lambs” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep. ” He said to him the
third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.”’ John 21:15-17
Jesus said, 'You love me, feed the lambs.' Leaders are showing their love for Jesus by caring for, tending to, and feeding the sheep (us).
