Getting There
The Kingfisher Bay ferry runs daily return services from River Heads to Kingfisher Bay Resort. The ferry seats 220 passengers with a fully licensed bar and snack food available. Vehicles can be booked on this ferry; however you don’t need your own 4WD if you are staying at Kingfisher Bay Resort.
The Fraser Venture Barge runs daily return services from River Heads to Wanggoolba Creek, which is perfect for those heading out in vehicles across the island and/or staying at Eurong Beach Resort. Please note that these services are subject to tidal conditions and must be booked in advance.

Via Air
Direct flights to Hervey Bay are available daily from Brisbane and Sydney. Kingfisher Bay Resort can prebook return airport transfers from the airport to the ferry mainland reception.
Via Road
Access is easy, just 3.5 hours drive north of Brisbane or 2.5 hours from the Sunshine Coast. Secure car parking is available at the ferry mainland reception.
