OBJECTIVES APPROACH
dtb! partners UnitingCare Queensland across 37 Queensland retirement living locations as their creative marketing agency.
Our role is to creatively position UnitingCare and Blue Care retirement villages with unique and compelling campaigns. Working across strategy, design, implementation and lead generation, we create campaigns that focus on village attributes so that target audiences can feel at home.
Marketing and brand strategies are achieved through conducting resident focus groups, market research and village visits, leading to the development of campaigns through updating photography, videography and resident stories for use across marketing collateral, digital and social, public relations and television, radio, signage and print.
Campaign activation is achieved through media planning, buying and placement, website content updates, social and digital media, and database creation and management. Weekly and monthly meetings support the measurement and revision of activities against set budgeted targets.

We undertook standalone in-market campaigns, whole of state campaigns, media planning and buying across Queensland, Australia and beyond.
dtb! visited all Queensland regions to support industry. We developed unique and meaningful media plans that accelerated visitation.
We worked weekly across media planning / placement, supplements, inserts and editorial. We worked with key partners: MediaCom, News Corp Australia, Fairfax Media and other publications and online suppliers.
RESULTS
We partnered Queensland’s tourism industry to achieve more targeted media placement and better media buy rates, for more measurable performance and greater return on investment.
We developed an innovative online portal for RTOs to simultaneously view a multitude of campaigns, upload media planning briefs, toolkit guideline for effective advertising, book and pay online gateways.
Our innovative approach supported the delivery of TEQ’s strategic plan. We achieved economic and social benefits for the state through marketing and promotion of tourism, experience and destination development and major events.

OBJECTIVES APPROACH
EDQ, funded by Queensland Health, provides the largest community support and treatment services for individuals and families living with and recovering from eating disorders, their carers and loved ones. Through the sharing of recovery wisdom they aim to involve people with a lived experience, carers and family members and loved ones.
Following the merger of the Eating Issues Centre and the Eating Disorders Association, EDQ needed a new brand and marketing and communication materials to promote their key messages of Hope, Resilience and Recovery to a state-wide audience.
dtb! embraced EDQ’s vision and commitment to creating ‘a world free from eating disorders’. Time and resources were invested to gain a fuller understanding of their vision and inclusive culture following the coming together of two diverse operations.
Determining what the organisation and individuals cared deeply about was vital in creating a brand that was supported by their client and carer community, as well as providing direction for all future communications and behaviours.
RESULTS
We created a fresh and natural brand incorporating their ‘crane’ which is representative of promoting positive change and the need for balance and living in harmony with others.
A new identity along with a website, online training modules, brochures, workbooks, annual reports, signage, digital and social media and more, were developed and we continue to support EDQ facilitate hope, resilience and recovery for all people affected by eating disorders.
For many years dtb! has partnered several of Queensland’s leading property developers to launch new developments, from master planned communities to offthe-plan apartment projects, targeting urban renewal through investment, population and employment growth.
