We are faced with a growing crisis in our children's ability to THINK and LEARN today. Play, the fundamental basis for children's learning, is disappearing at home, at school and in communities. As a result our kids are not developing critical 21st century skills such as collaboration, creativity, problem-solving, resilience and empathy that they will need to succeed as adults in the global economy. We put together this resource to help parents and caregivers learn about this Crisis In Play and identify toys that provide for quality play and toys that should be avoided.
