As the designers of the future, it is our responsibility to ourselves and our profession to change the public perception of what Interior Designers are truly capable of. Design goes beyond what the eye perceives. It can have profound effects on both our psychology as well as our well-being. We can improve the lives of others with our knowledge and understanding of how design impacts lives. Whether you are designing for a private home or a commercial space, there is always opportunity to create a functional, well thought out design that doesn’t compromise visual appeal. Everything from flow to color can affect your perception of a space so every detail counts. Can you find ways to improve a pre-existing space that can better its accessibly or how one may see a space? Send us a photo of something design related that you think could be improved with a brief description of the changes you would make and you could be featured on our social media!
