2.6.4 A flight attendant’s uniform of Thai Airways

Figure 2.18: Flight Attendant’s Uniform of Thai Airways The purple and gold colors in the Thai Airways uniforms, which is the Thai national airline, are from the airline logo of the National Orchid of Flowers and the Temple ('The History of Thai Airways,' 2014) and this means that the natural picture and the religious character of Thai are expressed in Thai. In the world's largest export orchid county in Thailand, the purple orchid is one of the trademarks of Thai with the Royal Orchid Service given by Thai Airways. And the temple is a focus point for people who value the Buddhist concept in the traditional Thai Buddhist country (Korean Association of Thai Studies, 2000). That is, Thai Airways has conveyed the identity of its homeland in a uniform by adding colors evoking the country's religious and natural sense of the world.
