VYTELLE QUEEN OF THE RING

The 2025 Droughtmaster National Bull Sale once again demonstrated the strength and resilience of the breed and the confidence of commercial and stud buyers alike. Across two days of selling, a total of 332 bulls were sold to achieve a gross of $5,371,500 at an average of $16,179 and a clearance rate of 87 percent. The sale set a new benchmark for the event, recording the highest top price in its 66-year history at $280,000, a milestone that reflects the ongoing confidence in Droughtmaster genetics and their proven performance across many parts of Australia.
This year’s results continue the upward trajectory of the sale, with the average price increasing for the third consecutive year and more than half of all bulls selling for over $10,000. The balance of commercial affordability and stud demand again underpinned the breed’s appeal to a broad buyer base from across Queensland and beyond.
Droughtmaster Australia extends its thanks to all vendors, buyers, agents and sponsors for their ongoing support and commitment to showcasing the breed’s performance and value. The National Bull Sale remains a benchmark event for the Australian beef industry, and preparations are already underway to build on this success in 2026.
