Multiplication and Division by 3rd grade student Multiplication and Division by 3rd grade student is a video that can relate to the students because it is taught by an actual 3rd grader. The student goes through the lesson teaching each step of multiplication and division. She uses their academic language. The 3 rd grader uses the group technique in order to show how the equation can be solved by dividing them into groups. I think the video is a great way for students to aspire to be able to do. A teacher could even have the students make a video like this one teaching the lesson. This will help them have fun and completely understand what they are doing. Snapdragon11111. (Producer). It goes over the Common Core Standards 3.OA.A.1 and 3.OA.A.2. Teachers can use this as a resource for every lesson they teach. There are videos and practice tests that walk a student through learning multiplication and division. It goes from understanding multiplication and division to applying the techniques in real world situations. There are multiplication and division sentences described in the videos so that the students can have a understanding of how questions will be on future tests. There are around 9 that pertain to 3rd grade math, One is called “2and 3 Digit Multiplication” and this where the students an practice multiplying big numbers. Another game is “Division Facts” and this involves using a worksheet to play and then increasing the student’s skill to 2 and 3 digit numbers. Printable Math Games is a wonderful resource for teachers. They can use these techniques in most of their 3rd grade lessons. The games become more challenging as the students learn.
