Yan’an, a famous historical city in Northwest China, boasts a long history and rich cultural heritages. The implementation of the “Grain for Green” program for years has greatly improved the ecological system of Loess Plateau and Yan’an was even rated as a National Forest City. The project is located in the outskirt of Baota District, Yan’an, adjoining Huanhu West Road and a reservoir along Huanhu East Road. The site is narrow and linear, which stretches 2 kilometers in north-south direction. Surrounded by mountains and water, it enjoys rich natural resources and convenient transportation as well. Positioned as a featured tourism town, the project brings together the past and present of Yan’an to develop new, immersive tourist experiences.
