New Year, New Shows at DPAC
We started 2025 with an incredible performance of live music and narrated stories with Live From Laurel Canyon and celebrated the talent and dedication of a musical icon with sold out performances of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical .
Two hilarious comedy shows came next from actor, producer and comedian best known for “Impractical Jokers”, Joe Gatto and America’s #1 ranked teacher-comedy podcast, Bored Teachers . Last month we were honored to welcome Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons , showcasing his legendary 60-year music career, as part of the Forest at Duke Legends Concert and Comedy series at DPAC.
Killers of Kill Tony comedians brought their popular podcast to the stage with a sold-out show at the end of the month, and we ended January with amazing back-to-back sellout performances of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in Concert , featuring the magical movie with a live orchestra playing the famous score.

Discover Broadway
DPAC’s Discover Broadway program offers Season Seat Members a way to donate their show tickets, so their valuable seats do not go unused. Deserving students from high schools and universities, as well as community members throughout Durham, have had the opportunity to experience their first theater show due to this incredible program.
For the 2024 / 2025 season, Season Seat Members have donated tickets to Durham Public Schools students and teachers, as well as the Durham Housing Authority (DHA) in a new partnership.
