For my new warp I have decided to go with another colour wrap. Green; beige/ orange; yellow/orange; black; black/purple; purple; light blue; black; green; brown. It looks awesome, almost African inspired in a way! It is a 2/16’s cotton warp so should be super soft once washed! Hopefully a little bit of fabric softener will do the trick nicely. Thinking about my samples, I would like to mirror the colour wrap in the weft. Mirror the warp and weft. Should get a bit of a colourful checker effect!

Exciting news! Lucy phoned me this morning to tell me to contact Alan Moore of TEN30! So I did, we got chatting and after a few emails we have decided to collaborate! He has been nominated for Scottish New Designer of the year by the Scottish Variety Club, and IM MAKING THE FABRIC FOR HIS OUTFIT! This is so exciting for me. Last year in 4th year, I would have loved to have had the time and money to have woven fabric and then have it tailored into a suit! I weave, Alan tailors and we both get photographs for our portfolios! AND, he wears my design on the night! Very excited.
