NYCP also premieres WeiChieh Lin’s Double concerto for Violin, Cello and String orchestra commissioned by NYCP. Under the baton of Dongmin Kim, NYCP introduces Mendelssohn’s early and joyful work, String Sinfonia No. 2, and one of best known string masterpieces of Bohemian identity, Suite for String Orchestra by Leoš Janácek.
