BEFORE YOU START THINKING
that we have a stitch loose, we should start clearing things up: We from thoni mara produce our own fabrics using the cuttingedge circular knitting technique: from the development to the finished product. We want to contribute to preserve fair jobs and to create new ones, even if that is considerably more expensive at first sight. But in return, it is up to us to meet the high expectations to sustainability. Since we as athletes want to move in a healthy environment, breathe fresh air, enjoy nature and its purity. Productions in low-wage countries are oftentimes not familiar with these environmental standards, exploit their country and their people, with incalculable consequences. Our fully integrated production in Germany and our short supply chains avoid long transport routes. This saves CO2 and is good for our
environment. Besides, our carefully selected material and production processes guarantee that the clothing stays extremely long-lasting. And last but not least, our seamless design enables us also to minimize cuttings and waste. Another one of our advantages is creative thinking and thinking ahead. Thus, we apply high-quality recycling yarn in our production line “green fee”. This saves approx. 60% energy, water and precious resources.
