The thesis focuses on establishing a comprehensive literature, cultural, and heritage centre in Kozhikode, renowned as the “City of Literature.” It proposes a fo ward-thinking approach to conservation, preserving the heritage value of the site through circular conservation principles. This involves repurposing materials from the demolished factory to create gabion structures and artistic installations, integrating elements of the factory into the new building’s architecture. Through this innovative approach, the thesis aims to convey the rich narrative of Kozhikode’s literature and heritage, celebrating its cultural legacy while revitalizing the urban landscape.
The proposed initiative aims to establish a vibrant cultural space in Kozhikode, India, dedicated to celebrating its rich literary heritage as a UNESCO City of Literature. This transformative project seeks to create a dynamic hub for intellectual exchange and community engagement, featuring reading spaces, a curated library, and a dedicated literary museum chronicling the city’s literary evolution. In addition, the space will include exhibition spaces to showcase new art forms and styles, as well as comunity spaces integrating a park and pond. Furthermore, heritage restaurants and public spaces will enhance Kozhikode’s culture and uniqueness. Emphasizing inclusivity and economic growth, the cultural space will serve as a year-round venue for literary activities and events, providing affordable platforms for local authors and contributing to the city’s cultural legacy and UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network.

YEAR : Semester v SOFTWARES : Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, Twinmotion, Indesign, Promeai
Given Vellore’s significant attributes, such as its educational institutions, industrial prowess, and cultural landmarks like the Sripuram Golden Temple, there arises a compelling case for the establishment of a cultural center in the region. Such a center would serve as an informative hub, catering to the diverse interests of Vellore’s population and visitors alike.
With institutions like the Christian Medical College & Hospital and the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) drawing students and professionals from across the country, a cultural center could offer enriching programs and exhibits that reflect the academic and intellectual vibrancy of the city. Additionally, Vellore’s status as a major exporter of leather goods underscores its industrial significance, making it pertinent for the cultural center to showcase the city’s industrial heritage and achievements.
Moreover, with Vellore being selected for the Smart Cities Mission, there is a growing emphasis on innovation and urban development. A cultural center could play a pivotal role in fostering creativity and community engagement by hosting workshops, seminars, and events focused on sustainable practices and technological advancements.
Overall, a cultural center in Vellore would not only fulfill the need for an informative and user-friendly space but also contribute to the city’s identity, fostering a sense of pride and belonging among its residents.

GANDHI MARKET
TYPOLOGY : Public Building, Urban Design LOCATION : Vellore, Tamil Nadu
YEAR : Semester IX
SOFTWARES : Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, Twinmotion, Indesign Promeai
Designing a market is a pivotal aspect of urban development, especially in a burgeoning region like Arcot. It entails creating an efficient system that ensures the health, hygiene, and seamless flow of raw perishable products, diverse people, and various vehicles. An inefficiently planned market can lead to food wastage, increased labor, energy consumption, and health hazards, which are undesirable outcomes for a growing region like Arcot.
The objectives of the project include decongesting the current market complex, transforming it into an active public space, preserving the traditional market system, providing a self-contained workspace for vendors, and enhancing the overall transaction experience for buyers and visitors.
The project’s impacts on people and the place are substantial. It will facilitate hassle-free transactions of essential perishables, improve vendor livelihoods, sustain market communities, and bolster the local economy. By revitalizing the market as a vibrant social and economic hub, the project aims to address the loss of inherent social values in public realms and restore the city’s meaningful gathering spaces.
In today’s urban landscape, rethinking the role of markets as integral components of urban transformation is imperative. They serve as new types of social areas that uphold urban traditions, facilitate economic and social exchanges between communities, and address sustainability challenges. Therefore, establishing a market in Vellore is essential for its urban revitalization and

In Hyderabad, Telangana, a haven emerges for urban nomads: construction workers. They endure the grind of their labor, supporting families and striving for a better future. On a 3-acre site, their temporary home provides not just shelter, but dignity and care, following BOCWA regulations.
The proposed design optimizes space, accommodating up to 300 individuals and 20 families on just 25% of the site. Privacy is ensured, with bathing areas positioned for personal space, while shared common areas foster community bonds.
Beyond shelter, the design promotes holistic development, with a learning center for education and essential services like housekeeping, catering, and medical check-ups.
Adaptable to different terrains and climates, this design stands as a symbol of innovation and compassion, submitted for consideration in the Annual NASA Design Competition (ANDC). It reflects the competition’s ethos of pushing design boundaries for humanity’s betterment.

Kuttikattoor, located in Calicut, Kerala, boasts a rich tradition of carpentry, with its streets lined with numerous wood workshops and bustling workspaces. However, amidst this thriving industry, a significant amount of wooden pieces often end up discarded and wasted, adding to the growing heap of garbage. In response to this concerning trend, my unconventional furniture design initiative aims to repurpose these overlooked wooden logs and offcuts into functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces.
The core principle guiding my design approach is to harness these discarded wooden pieces to craft lightweight furniture that caters to our basic needs without compromising on aesthetics. By ingeniously combining these diverse wooden textures and colors, I strive to infuse each furniture piece with a sense of sophistication and creativity. From stools to laundry bags, umbrella holders, side tables, and even chandeliers, the possibilities for transforming these reclaimed wood pieces are endless. Moreover, by utilizing leftover materials from larger furniture projects by seasoned designers and carpenters, my designs not only embody sustainability but also guarantee the inherent quality and durability associated with such materials.caters to every need with ease and efficiency.

Designing kindergarten furniture involves prioritizing safety, comfort, and developmental needs. Rounded edges, non-toxic materials, and sturdy construction prevent accidents. Furniture should be appropriately sized, durable, and ergonomic, promoting proper posture and comfort during activities. Playful designs with vibrant colors and interactive features stimulate creativity and engagement. Accessibility ensures inclusivity for children with disabilities, while multi-use and flexible arrangements optimize classroom functionality. Easy maintenance and environmentally friendly materials contribute to sustainability. Sensory elements encourage hands-on exploration, and adherence to safety standards ensures child well-being.
In designing chairs for 3-6-year-olds, ergonomic seating is crucial for proper posture. Chairs should allow feet flat on the floor and knees bent at a 90° angle. STORIES OF AGE
In the vibrant canvas of life, each wrinkle etched upon the face tells a tale—a narrative of wisdom, experience, and the profound journey of existence. My art delves into the captivating stories whispered by the eyes, those timeless windows to the soul that trascend barriers of age, culture, and circumstance. In the tapestry of my creations, old faces emerge as poignant protagonists. Their countenances are adorned with the elegant intricacy of time, every line a testament to a life richly lived. Through strokes of color and shadow, I seek to capture not just the physical visage, but the essence of their spirits—the resilience, the laughter lines, and the depth of their gaze that seems to peer into the very heart of humanity. One portrait, in particular, stands as a silent ode to the power of the ocular narrative. A face veiled by a blanket, leaving only the eyes exposed, yet in that solitary glimpse, a universe of emotion unfolds. It is a tribute to the undeniable eloquence of the eyes, which, even when shrouded in mystery, radiate innocence, curiosity, and an ineffable charm. It speaks to the universal language of humanity, where words may falter, but the eyes speak volumes. In my exploration of age, I find beauty in its mosaic of experiences. Each crease, each furrow, is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of life—a symphony of triumphs, setbacks, and the quiet dignity of acceptance. Through the faces I paint, I discover not just individuals, but the collective tapestry of human existence, woven with threads of resilience, grace, and unwavering resolve. Moreover, my portraits transcend the boundaries of culture and tradition, embracing the kaleidoscope of human diversity. From the vibrant hues of traditional attire to the subtle nuances of expression, each painting reflects the rich tapestry of global heritage. It is a celebration of difference, yet an affirmation of the shared human experience—a testament to the timeless allure of the human spirit, boundless in its capacity for connection and empathy. In essence, my art is more than just a visual spectacle—it is a journey of the soul, an exploration of the profound narratives that dwell within us all. Through the lens of age, culture, and tradition, I seek to unravel the universal truths that bind us together, reminding us of our shared humanity and the enduring power of the human spirit to inspire, to endure, and to love.

TYPOLOGY : Photography, Model Making
In my artistic journey, I move beyond just painting portraits to explore the captivating architecture of India and the beauty of my surroundings. With my camera, I capture the clean lines and intricate details of these structures, each telling its own story of tradition and innovation. I’m drawn to the interplay of light and shadow in streets and alleys, freezing these moments in my photographs to convey the emotions they evoke.
But my art doesn’t stop at photography; I also craft handmade models using foam board and paper. These models, painstakingly created over years, showcase my dedication to precision and design. Among them, a parametric chair, digitally designed and executed with precision, stands as a blend of functionality and artistic expression. From architectural wonders to handmade models, each creation reflects my passion for beauty and form, weaving together exploration, observation, and creation into a rich tapestry of expression.
